Required documents to buy a ticket

Ticket sales for domestic routes are carried out based on a valid document confirming the identity of the individual.

The following documents are required to purchase a ticket:

• ID card of a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• National and foreign passports;
• Military ID (for those in active military service and cadets);
• Birth certificate or ID card for children under 15 years of age. For newborns (within one month), a certificate from the maternity hospital;
• Certificate of release (for individuals released from prison);
• Other temporary identification documents;
• Permit for temporary residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan for foreigners and stateless persons.

Foreign citizens must present an identity document to purchase a ticket. If a foreign citizen has stayed within the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 10 to 90 days, they must present a document regarding migration registration (in electronic form or as a certificate) to the ticket cashier.
