In newly built or thoroughly renovated stations, special areas, turnstiles, and elevators have been installed to facilitate the movement of passengers with physical limitations.
For visually impaired passengers, access to the station and platforms is allowed with their service animal, and tactile tiles have been laid.
If a passenger with limited mobility is traveling by train, the transportation of wheelchairs exceeding the hand luggage allowance (36 kg) is permitted.
Currently, on the routes Baku-Sumgait-Baku, Baku-Aghstafa-Baku, and Baku-Gabala-Baku, trains manufactured by Stadler are equipped with special seats for passengers with physical disabilities.
