Safe travel

The trains of ADY, both seating and sleeping types, which operate in the passenger transportation sector, are regularly cleaned.

All passenger trains undergo special cleaning after completing their journeys according to the schedule. During the cleaning process, the floors of the trains are wiped or carpets laid on the floors are dusted and then washed with special solutions. Seats, areas designated for hand luggage, handrails, and handles are wiped with a special disinfectant solution, and the sanitary facilities are cleaned. The windows of the train are wiped from the inside.

In sleeping-type cars, the bed linens provided to passengers are washed and disinfected under special conditions after each use.

Along with cleaning, disinfection is also carried out on trains, as well as at stations, railway facilities, and administrative buildings to ensure the safe movement of passengers.

Medical examination

To ensure the safe movement of passengers, mandatory pre-trip medical examinations are conducted for locomotive drivers and their assistants.

At the medical stations of the Medical and Sanitary Service of ADY, a comprehensive evaluation of the physical, psycho-emotional, and, if necessary, psychological indicators of the locomotive crew members is carried out.

If the evaluation reveals a loss or reduction of work capacity in the locomotive crew members, they are removed from the trip.
