Services at the railway station

Passengers traveling in first class and business class on sleeper trains of Azerbaijan Railways can use the VIP lounges at the Baku, Ganja, and Gabala railway stations.

There are directional signs at the station and platform areas, and boards indicating "VIP LOUNGE" at the entrances of the lounges.

Passengers can use the VIP lounge for up to 1 hour before the train departs or at the end of their journey.

At the entrance of the VIP lounge, an ADY employee checks the validity of the travel document (ticket) and verifies it against identity documents.

Hand luggage is transported to the lounge or directly to the train based on the passenger's preference. If the hand luggage is placed in the lounge, an ADY employee accompanies the passenger and their hand luggage to the train.

The following free services are provided to the passengers in the VIP lounge:

  • Unlimited water, tea, coffee;
  • Access to local phone calls and internet (Wi-Fi usage);
  • A relaxation area equipped with comfortable soft furniture;
  • Informational printed materials about the city's tourist attractions (brochures, booklets);
  • Reception of the passengers at the end of their journey.

At the end of the journey, the train conductor directs the passengers to an ADY representative at the station. The ADY employee meets the passengers and accompanies them with their hand luggage to the VIP lounge.

Attention! Smoking and consuming alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the VIP lounge.
