“First” Class

Service at the Station

Passengers traveling in First class on ADY can use the VIP lounges at the Baku, Ganja, and Gabala railway stations. 

Directional signs are present on the station premises, and a board marked "VIP LOUNGE" is located at the entrance to the lounges. 

Passengers can use the VIP lounge for up to 1 hour before the train departs or after the trip ends. 

At the entrance to the VIP lounge, an ADY employee checks the validity of the travel document (ticket) and its compliance with the passenger's identity document. 

Hand luggage is transported to the lounge or directly to the train at the passenger's request. If the hand luggage is placed in the lounge, an ADY employee will accompany the passenger and their luggage to the train. 

In the VIP lounge, passengers receive the following complimentary services: 

  •  Unlimited water, tea, coffee; 
  •  Access to local telephone calls and internet (Wi-Fi); 
  •  A relaxation area equipped with comfortable and soft furniture; 
  •  Informational printed materials (brochures, booklets) about local sightseeing; 
  •  Reception service at the end of the journey. 

At the end of the trip, the wagon attendant directs the passenger to the ADY representative at the station. The ADY employee greets the passenger and accompanies them, along with their luggage, to the VIP lounge. 

Attention! Smoking and alcohol consumption are prohibited in the VIP lounge. 

Complimentary Meal Service

Passengers traveling in first class are offered complimentary meals during the journey. 

The food selection includes: 

  •  Snacks; 
  •  Breakfast; 
  •  Sandwiches; 
  •  Fruit juice; 
  •  Baked goods; 
  •  Hot drinks (tea, coffee) with sugar, and water. 

Catering services are provided by a certified company ensuring the origin and safety of the food. 

The packaging of the provided food indicates the production date, storage conditions, and expiry date. 

One hour after the train departs from the starting station, tea, coffee, water, and food are served to passengers. Tea, coffee, and water are offered without limits and free of charge. 

Passengers are given the opportunity to order from the menu once for free during the journey, and for subsequent orders, payment is required. 

In the first-class carriages of trains, there are special seats. The seats are equipped with electric sockets and armrests, individual lighting, and the seats can be adjusted according to preference. Additionally, the first-class seats in the double-decker trains can rotate 180 degrees. 

During the journey, passengers are provided with a pillow, blanket, and slippers.
